THIS WEEKEND A FEW OF MY FRIENDS WERE NICE ENOUGH TO ALLOW ME TO USE THEIR HOUSE AS A TEST KITCHEN. THEY WERE ALSO GRACIOUS ENOUGH TO PROVIDE THE RECIPES AND TAKE US TO THE LOCAL STREET MARKET. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE COST ABOUT $40 AND WE HAD A BLAST experimenting.

THESE ARE JUST SOME PHOTOS from THE WEEKEND as well as an IDEA OF WHAT WE WILL BE SERVING FROM THE TRUCK

THE ORIGINAL MENU WE SET OUT TO CREATE

HAD TO GET A PICTURE OF THE WHOLE GANG

We used a self timer and all grabbed something for the shot. I opted for the knife and obviously none of us were ready

The grilled 'bellos don't look like much yet

Wait for it....

Now there's a Grilled portobello Sandwich

to the untrained eye that may look like the face of boredom

But to someone who knows better, that is the face of longing to eat that eggplant sandwhich

The weekend was a complete success.

THe food tasted absolutely INCREDIBLE and I could not be more happy with what jim and Luke came up with in the kitchen. thank you both so much and everyone else who was involved with the day. aside from all the fun we had and great food we got to eat, i came out of the day with a great basis for a menu!

As of right now the menu is looking like

  • Buffalo Cauliflower Wrap

  • Grilled Portobello Sandwich/Panini

  • Grilled Eggplant Sandwich/paNini

  • BLACK BEAN CHIC PEA BURGER

  • Earth Bowls
  • Smoothies

I can't wait to get this thing going, And i hope you are as excited to try it out as i am to bring it to you!
